  Steer clear of this practice parents! I finally made the switch to a different group for my kiddos. First, let me acknowledge that the administrative staff at HP is not a reflection of this poor (but honest) review. The same goes for the billing staff, they know their job and do it well. That said, the physicians are really disconnected. They severely lack the ability to listen. With every single visit, it became more frustrating to see that they were focused on typing into the computer or simply talking over me than hearing what the chief complaint was or reason my children were being seen. They almost "half listen". This is so dangerous! You'll find yourself repeating answers and when they reiterate something, you're reexplaining. Time after time, you simply walk away feeling like they don't want to be there. When you ask questions or don't feel comfortable with the treatment plan that they are recommending, they become defensive, condescending and sometimes even unprofessional. The ego of the doctors gets in the way of the reason you're there. It will continue to frustrate you after each visit until you finally end up switching practices. I'm left feeling that I waited all these years, hoping it would get better and it never did and now we have to start over. From one mom to another, don't do what I did and wait to see if it get's better here... it doesn't. They have a high turnover rate too (which speaks for itself). Don't even get me started on their phone "on hold" times... You can do without the added aggravation, steer clear of this place, they really are the bench squad of doctors, at best.
