- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I gave birth in February the day of my discharge Dr. K recommended the depo shot for birth control because its a hassle free from of contraception. I accepted it..BIG MISTAKE. sorry for the tmi, but I am now bleeding for almost 6 months because my body can't adjust to the hormones. I really don't appreciate the fact that a doctor didn't go over the risks and side affects With me..I had to Google depo and the results were mind boggling...that is the number one bad side affect that women complain of. Oh and on top of everything..every single doctors appointment took eons. They are extremely slow, 9 moths pregnant and you're stuck sitting in extremely uuncomfortable chairs for 3 hours just to get a check up. I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy.
